HD has been solid and will continue to be. Just bought entire bathroom. They have a nice design center. Everyone is always very helpful. I compare what HD is doing to what Circuit City did awhile back. Customer Service will keep you in business for a long time !!
Since we are remodeling entire home I would buy HD now before I start with the rest of the house. My purchases should push the stock up quite heavily over the next 12 months (that is if I let my wife select everything, like I have a choice !)

HD as a store rules! They have everything!!
As for a reasonable entry point...well I think that would kind of depend if you are looking at it as a short term or long term investment. I was looking at it just a few days ago & it was trading around $55. It now is back up around $59 & $60.
I suppose it could fall back to the low $50's again where I think it might be attractive for a longer term investemnt.
