My only solace is that at these prices it a takeover play

Gerard,

There also should be some solace in the value play aspect of this company. At the current stock price of about 18 3/4, IDTC (with 35.7MM shares outstanding) has a market cap of about $670MM.

The current annual sales are about $768MM, so IDTC is selling for just .87 x sales. That is incredibly low. Given the likelihood of $1B in sales for the next FY, that puts the company's market cap at just .67 x sales. I can't imagine that the market cap won't catch up to reality at some point.
