Systems Powered by Proprietary Solar Energy Systems

PENNINGTON, N.J., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- WorldWater Corp. (OTC
Bulletin Board: WWAT) of Pennington, NJ, has been awarded a $250,000
grant from the New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology to
develop a cost effective method of operating so-called drip irrigation
systems with the Company's proprietary solar pumping equipment.
WorldWater will act in partnership with Rutgers University to develop
the products which will "have the potential to expand the crop
potential of agricultural land in New Jersey and other parts of the
United States, and should be well-positioned for strong sales in
international markets," according to the official statement from the
Commission.

WorldWater Corp. is a water and solar engineering company which has
developed powerful solar pumping systems capable of delivering
irrigation water from rivers in volumes up to 2,000 gallons per minute
or drinking water from wells several hundred feet deep. The Company is
already operating its pumps in 16 countries in Africa and Asia, with
pending contracts for power and water delivery projects in South Asia
and the Horn of Africa (East Africa).

Under the State's "Technology Transfer Program," the grant is "intended
to support the acquisition and exploitation of new technologies by New
Jersey companies." Comments by the judges regarding the
WorldWater-Rutgers project included the following written quotations:
"The commercialization plan and potential (is) rated very high."; "The
team is up to the task. The plan is reasonable and worthy. The
scientific validity of drip irrigation systems and the company's access
to current markets bodes well for the project."; "The Company could
become a leader in irrigation systems technology worldwide with good
impact in New Jersey."
