Perhaps, but you want to hear something really crazy? I think that one of the biggest online traders will one day be Bank of America. Banks are always looking to stretch out into areas of easy money, with B of A leading the pack. The tiny banks that have entered the arena are indicitive of this move. Also, Canada's big money banks. . .Toronto-Dominion bought . . who was it Waterhouse? Then Royal Bank of Canada bought the Bull and Bear Group online brokerage house. I think this is the trend. Now Merrill goes online.

Also, I think the pie will become so large that even the big piece [27 percent of market share] that Schwab has will start to become thinner and thinner and less and less significant. . . .same as the dilution I predict for E-Commerce.
