Carl, Thanks for your comments. I decided to lick my wounds 'til Monday, and give VECO a chance to open down - if it wants. At least my nerves will be in better shape by then. Your idea about them holding off any Warning until end of Qtr makes sense - there is probably some back-end loading on sales and shipments of the expensive tools they sell. There would be little point announcing a month early. And - they have that new PVD system for GMR... probably just beginning sales now. The good news - to date - is that the most recent analyst comments have been upgrades, and increased earnings estimates - according to Zacks. Good luck, Herbert
