Exciting Results From Ferguson Lake

Starfield Resources Inc. (SRU.A) Alberta, has produced some exciting if not stunning results from its first round exploration efforts at the Ferguson lake Platinum-Palladium Project. The 5.6 mile long Main Zone has been reconfirmed by modern deep penetrating geophysics. The surprise has been that the West Zone south connects 3.5 miles to the east with anomaly 51. The ultra strong deep geophysical responses and surface geology now indicate that the 5.6 mile long Main Zone and parallel southern zone are part of a large northeast plunging synform. The tightly folded synform dips some 45 northerly and plunges to the northeast. The company has announced the discovery of large previously unrecognized strong conductive zones at depth. They may represent a large zone of Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-PG mineralization at the trough of the synform. The nose of the fold has open pit potential.
The company has completed five diamond drill holes (NQ) and all holes intercepted massive sulphides. Three of the holes were drilled to confirm the results of Inco's 123,000 ft. of surface diamond drilling in the 1950' and two holes were drilled to explore potential on the East Zone on the north limb. The core from these holes have been shipped to the assay lab and assays are due out in 2-3 weeks. Ferguson Lake has the potential to become the largest platinum-palladium-copper-nickel-cobalt discovery in North America.
