Off on vacation, see you all in a week! Going to leave a protective stop on PRTL @ 20, and one at 24.

Oregon Decision - what a nervewracker. Own both ATHM and ELNK. Sold half of both cancelling each other out. Going to put that cash to work next week in some non-net stocks until this thing clears itself up. If some little court in Oregon can throw the entire net universe into a tailspin what else? Of course mad twists in the market are the norm. Two weeks ago dumped my Oracle after they warned. Now it's the big winner. Two weeks ago PFE was in the toilet at 100/share/ Now it's the king. Two months ago Y2K type stocks were at yearly lows. Since then they've almost doubled. And te kings then (big nets) have plummeted. I own BNBN now at below IPO price and people say it's a worthless money-loser. How sentiment changes. And does it have anything to do with reality? Or just irrational green and/or irrational panic?

Such is life I guess. Value is all about perceoption and perceptions change quickly, sometimes even on a dime.
