Well a potentially significant ruling has been made by the us supreme court with respect to who owns coal gas methane on federal lands .the court basically descided that coal gas is not like coal and is more like gas so the feds dont own the coal gas methane but the people who own the leases .so this potentially helps epic if they have coal gas on thier property ,are ever able to find someone to develope it with them and then they have it in commercially viable amounts.there are of course a lot of big ifs there and no evidence of any movement with respect to that in the last 18months despite lots of promises made .its quite amazing that epics price has held up above the 3-5 cent level on the lack of news but it has.they must be having to sell stock on a regular basis to keep the telephone lines running and pay for general office expenses.
natural gas prices sure are doing well and they are up to 2.40$ a unit .not bad considering what a mild winter we had.petroquest which i had mentioned is creeping up presumably on the strength of its soon to be on production well in the gulf.the gold market sure doesnt seem to be showing any evidence of inflation so expect the panic in the bond market is just overdone and we remain in deflationary times.arh
