I will certainly admit I'm no TA expert either. I've just heard that a lot of traders/hedge funds use a bearish crossover in the weekly MACD as a signal to exit. Especially in the case of SFE and many, many other nets which have been MACD positive since last fall.

In my mind, stocks like CMGI and SFE are linked to the health of the internet IPO market. That looks ominous in the near term.

I'd like to know what a good point and figure person thinks about SFE right now.

You can ask the MAN himself, Tom Dorsey at this link:

Or you can rely on the opinion of one suffering under the delusion that he is, or at least deserves to be, the King of France:

SFE just bounced off of it's rising bullish support line at 62, a very bullish event, so long as it holds. A move above 68 would tend to confirm a bullish reversal.

Mike, this is not an answer to you June 4 post, as you may gather.

Based upon the sort of trading we have seen in previous days and the current short term deadlines of the stock (by settlement rules "buy before June 9 if you want to be in ICGE" and then the US Interactive date of record of June 18), technical and fundamental analysis, where do you the stock heading to by the end of the week? Did you keep your short term trading position?

Thanks for your good feedback, as usual - Tom
