Has anybody noticed that Ascend has now passed LU on value? The tradein number is now positive. Maybe we ought to ask the special stockholder meeting to renegotiate that 1.65 shares of LU for 1 of ASND. (Just kidding! I have been holding gobs of ASND stock for 20 anxious months waiting for the BIG EVENT. Thanks to all the contributors to this thread who helped me have the courage to hang in there.)

Yes, this does give an inside edge to Cisco, but my position is widely accepted - even by LU and ASND given their recent moves. If everyone that agreed to converged networks on IP worked for Cisco I suspect Cisco would be employing in excess of a million employees. " I would like to believe that too. Juniper seems doing exactly that. By looking into their web, juniper.net, I found that UUnet is deploying M40 as IP backbone core network in US. And IBM Globle Net.(AT&T), C&W, MCI-WorldCom, Verio, and Frontier all become Juniper's customer. Juniper actually made $10mil revenue in the past quarter. Who knows what they will do this coming quarter. May be CSCO should put big bucks buying them before they starting to take market share out of Cisco. Are you still maintain that Juniper just give M40 out for free? Think again! Best Regards!
