Let's have a moment of silence for all the weak hands who sold at the low. OK, that's enough, party on.

Vendit, I live in the northern fringe of Silicon Valley in California. My town has THREE choices for cable tv; TCI, TCI and TCI. Their service is purely third rate. They are snorty. And they just throw their weight around at us customers. Now comes @Home and they offer ISP services via TCI. And, yes you guessed it right. People who have @Home service say that the service is third rate. I know of at least one person who has discontinued @Home and switched to AOL. So we are helpless. Do not have a choice of cable or ISP providers on broadband.

I am writing my Senators, Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer to request government intervention. This is a classic case of monopoly, milking the consumers. Can anyone help me with how I can contact Ralph Nader's group.

Now I am sure if we threaders speak as a group to our respective Senators, it could go somewhere. This is an opportune moment, right on the heels of the Oregon ruling. Do we get a strong AYE from fellow threaders for this? Please respond.
