I've noticed a similar pattern in ZONA's and SRCMs trading range right before bad news is announced. A HUGE and rapid decline, followed by equally rapid rise.

In ZONAs case, it was FDA rejection. In SRCM's case it is at least the big execs getting canned. Maybe more, we'll see.

Is this a consistent pattern with companies who essentially exist to promote their stock?

When will we see the 144's and where are they published?
