bp,

Question re the fear of the "Evil Intel" controlling the memory market,

Can't Via or any other chipset maker develop chipsets around RDRAM? Intel chose RDRAM but RDRAM is an open architecture where everyone is welcome at the party, right?

I know, INTC is the monster and what they produce a lot of OEM's end up using. But perhaps Via could develop a "better" chipset around RDRAM? They could if they want, I am sure RMBS wouldn't care!
