Then they'd be attempting to buy on margin (does not matter which equities make up that margin buying power, it's still margin) so that would not have been posssible, no? It's Sunday and I should be able to think clearly. I have a long a/c with Asnd/Lu and Wfc shares..etc..the equity enabled buying power lets me buy net stocks such as....Ivil@120.. Anyway, when a brand new net IPO(IVIL) drops from @120 to $38 within 3 weeks, there must be margin-indeced sellings, large and small.
