CB,,, I was just thinking the other night--- Cobalt blue was the colour of my second last Jag.. <g> and this one if I ever get off the net, and get it running,,, BTW,, I'm a MM in TO,, another hated species-- <g> actually here we are more like day traders than MM's, but what the heck... And oh yes, my daughter is in Chile right now finishing her articling..

Not everyone. Lawyers are cool. Some are as in most groups of people. One went to the judge after hours and got her to reverse her decision and let me out on OR. I'd never even met the woman. She was a friend of a friend of a friend. I was happy since it meant not spending a second night in county, and the next day they dropped the charges. Plus she took me from the jail to the bar across the street and got me a beer and a pack of cigarrettes and then gave a ride home. Annnnd, she was gorgeous. That added to the effect, ya know. Yep, I have a soft spot for lawyers.

Coby, I really should read the rest of the thread before responding to you here, but I am afraid of getting swept away on another topic. Everyone does not hate lawyers! The reason for the jokes and wisecracks is that so many people have had appalling experiences with some of the more appalling specimens of the profession. I could have strangled one recently myself for getting a case dismissed through his own simple negligence and then evading me for weeks rather than talking with me to see what could be done to salvage the situation. Yet I have friends in the profession--even a cousin in Florida--and I have a great deal of respect for the work involved. BTW, as you know from PMs, I have much the same dilemma on SI. LOL!!
