Now there is a prediction that that I definitely disagree with. MU has plenty of cash left, some very modern fabs that are capable of .18µ production, and lower production costs than most DRAM makers. They have a history of profitability while many players like TI and Intel lost money in this business. MU may have an off quarter or two, but the "final death spiral"?? Surely you jest.

MU will rise again, perhaps even this year. I see no compelling reason at this point for the stock to move either higher or lower. I was hoping I'd get a chance to buy in the teens or low 20's for the next ride up, but I'm starting to wonder if it will happen.

One thing is certain though: For awhile all the news is bad, then for awhile the news is good. Therefore MU stock goes up at times, and down at others. I suppose it is possible that it could go straight to 0 or straight to 200, but I seriously doubt it will happen.
