MB, how about some help with a couple of questions? 1) a friend asked me this one and I realized that I know nothing about mutual funds. The question was tax consequences. If you buy a fund and did not sell, do you still have tax liability each year based on what the fund manager bought/sold? If so, doesn't that mean a mutual fund investor has to have money on the sideline each year to pay taxes? 2) both Best Buy and Circuit City announced positive news last week. PC is one area that both retailers claim surprising strong sales. Do you or anyone know what do they sell? I am just wondering if it applies across the PC industry or are there some special brands, such as the eMachines which is killing the big boys? TIA Ramsey
