control 100% of price ...

As in any IPO a few firms will generally BID for the right to take you public. They'll shit ya down and tell ya based on the assets, the market conditions, etc.etc. They'll guarantee an price of X dollars per share. Once that occurs they start the task of recouping their investment. Thats why once an issue is price the company technically has been given a check for X number of shares. The OPENING price depends how well they did in creating demand for the issue. AHHHHHHHHHHH you mean even the BOG BOYS hype...Nahhhhhh can't be huh!, Yep doesn't matter if its a BB, or a prime rib issue hype is part of the game. So Bob the price that the issue is price at is generally a mutual "understanding" between syndicate broker and the company, but the OPENING price that we could sell at depends what everyone else in the world perceives as its value.
