Gietzen is an engineer from Stanford and a mathematician. His work is filled with formulas that he himself developed for trading futures and commodities. There must be 30 of them.....

Cycle studies are numerous focusing on discovery, length, regularity, and devising oscillators for momentum. Some of which are personal formulas. He is presenting an innovative indicator incorporating changes in price, trading volume and volatility.
To much to describe here.
