Sam, biased reporting by CBS market watch...

>IRVINE, Calif. (CBS.MW) -- A stock downgrade and a warning of
lower earnings jolted shares of Western Digital and Quantum Friday,
sending shares of both hardware issues down over 2 percent.

Irvine, Calif.-based Western Digital (WDC: news, msgs) shares lost 3/16,
or 2.4 percent, to 7 9/16 and Quantum (QNTM: news, msgs) stock
dropped 9/16, or 2.9 percent, to 19.

cbs.marketwatch.com

So now a drop of less than 3% is a jolt?
No mention that SEG dropped 3.27%, more than QNTM and WDC. There is
a mention of SEG dropping 1 1/16 at the end, but who reads that far.
quote.yahoo.com

I find that a curious omission.

Gottfried

Thanks for the response. I hear you, but I still can't get over the stocks "staying power" after such fundamentally bad news. I agree however, that its one to watch for the future to see if they are one of the survivors, as you put it Sam. Good luck to you.
