So, you think people who are shorting will cover on the beginning of bad news? What is the short position anyway. Is it significant?

I don't have experience shorting stock and don't yet know everything I should about it. Is there any limit on the length of time you can hold a short position? If not, then you're correct, they won't cover until they believe the stock has bottomed, which doesn't help while bad news is running its course.

The short interest is about 75 million shares, if I'm reading the data right.

I'm still learning. Thanks for any comments or insight you think I need to hear! <g>
