IMF GOLD: Any sales of International Monetary Fund gold reserves will be conducted in a manner that will limit negative effects on gold markets, IMF Managing Director Michel Camdessus said. Camdessus added that he is hopeful a decision will be made on the sale of a portion of the fund"s gold reserves to finance debt relief before the IMF"s annual meetings this fall.
