Dell is going all out to increase its market share with home PC buyers.
I get personal mail at work and today I got a Home Systems Catalog from DELL.
How about a loaded PIII desktop for $2350
or a 15in screen 333 mhz PII laptop for $2400??

They are offering 5 different ways for the home buyer to pay
1. Dell Purchase Plan 48 months at 19% thru Dell Financial Services
2. Dell Personal Lease 24 or 36 months
3 Dell Platinum Visa at 9% thru 1st USA Visa
4. Echeck Electronic debit of your checking account. The advantage to
this is there's no waiting for a check to clear so they start
building your purchase immediately.
5. Traditional credit card purchase

When I got home, there was a slightly different catalog in the mail there. My wife has a 1st USA Visa card and this catalog was aimed
specifically at USA visa cardholders. The deal for them is 9% for
36 months on any Dell purchase over $2000 regardless of the regular rate on the card.

I've received DELL business catalogs before at work, but never the full court press like today. They are going after the home buyer!!!
