OK now we're getting somewhere. What data provisioning services (or data service providers)--available today--allow copper loop connections to high speed backbones? And not only the connection, but they provide security, OSS, order entry/billing systems, SLA's, technical support, sales staffs, marketing staffs, et al, from end (copper loop) user to backbone peering point?

Definitely, and they had better take that under advisement with respect to Oregon. To confront is wrong. To accept and relinquish is the way to save the day, because greater threats than DSL are coming.
