fyi, Harry Tracy (Neuroinvestment) posted the following today at ragingbull.com

The momentum in this stock was based partially on a delayed response to genuinely positive
developments (Organon, the Sz data, fiscal stability) and partially a premature and
exaggerated anticipation of nearterm news. While an Alzheimer's deal is possible late in the
year, the NIH AD data has not been fully analyzed as of yet--and even if encouraging--it would
be several months of due diligence before anything could happen.

That of course does not stop people from posting references to "Lilly would be a good
match", as if one could not make equally valid (and misleading) references to several other
companies. The notion that Organon was manipulating the stock price was even more
absurd.

This was a bounce that I did not think was going to happen until late in 99, and indeed it may
well dissipate, given the short attention span of the Market nowadays. For those into Cortex
for the long run, it is however true that its prospects have never been brighter--but they are not
imminent. NeuroInvestment (www.neuroinvestment.com)
