Personally I'm NOT going to try and play it without some
confirmation from my brokers or a public source. I've phoned
both of my brokers, neither had reference to this tender offer.
Be careful! If the offer is real. This may be an attempt to cover
a big short position without moving the market. In that case there
may not be any near term move up on it? Speculation ONLY on my part.

Don't know what it's about. It's such a small amount they're tendering for, that they can most likely get them on the open market for less.

But I don't see any reason why a current shareholder would not want to tender his shares. If you really like the stock (yeah right!), you can always buy it back for cheaper than 4.
