In our original conversation my thoughts at the time and my answer to you was $5000 per customer. I now remember reading an analysis in The Street.com that was showing a valuation model based on the numbers of hits per day vs market cap. I will look for the article and post it if I can find it again.

In thinking back the $5000 figure that I used seems too low in that particular model. One thing that I am sure of is that it was showing AOL under valued based on the hits model. One other thing to keep in mind is that at the time the model was done AOL was trading around $160.

This is not exactly what I was looking for on valuation but is an interesting take on AOL. I recommend reading the entire article which is short.
