Water shortage, purity of our drinking water and safety of our food supply WILL be the major issue that we have to face in the coming new millenium. It is for this reason that I've invested in little SDIX, as they have a big part of solving these issues involving our water and food supply.
Relating to the food issue, look at the news coming out of Belgium this week. Now that is scary.
For some interesting reading, get the June 7 edition of Business Week and read John Carey commentary on Page 36: "Imperiled Monarchs Alter the Biotech Landscape"
The two concluding sentences tell it all:"Genetic engineering still holds the promise of revolutionizing agriculture. But the path to that future just got more uncertain."
