Kimberly, of course the head of a Market Making firm wouldn't chat with a retail investor about legal interpretations of their business.

If you called the heads of MSFT, IBM, GE or GM, you could expect the same difficulty of speaking with them as well.

Why post here, you ask? Well because it is ONLY here that we see people promoting such nonsense. I don't see BEST, GSCO and MSCO making these claims, so why haul their a$$ on the carpet for it?? When you see BEST et al making such claims, let us know.

Simple fact is it is ILLEGAL to manipulate a stock as some rogue Market Makers are want to do. Picking a stock, and simply SELLING IT out of thin air [sale to deliver] figuring that if you are ever caught and called for delivery of shares you will just stall and buy back in - is NOT proper, legal, or ethical.

SURE MMs do it. That doesn't make it legal. That was the point of my "people drive 90 MPH on the highway" analogy, which perhaps you didn't understand what I meant the first time.

Ask yourself - Who is touting this "acceptable practice" to us here on this thread? Is this person a legitimate Market Maker, perhaps the head trader at NITE or HRZG?? Or is this a FORMER MM who was thrown out of the industry?

Why would anyone voluntarily leave the LUCRATUVE business of Market Making and resort to hawking seminars by spamming public boards with his tripe? Look a little deeper into that question and it all begins to make sense.

Good Luck to you! Colin
