JLIHAI, You may be right... One rate hike may not do it... But it may compel consumers to re-evalute their spending patterns and hence subconsciously create the real or imagined "fish-hooks" in their pockets. As for buy/sell programs kicking in: Sure happened on Friday... right as the DOW was sitting on its 50 day moving average. I was not impressed with the extremely low volume. Next week is key to market direction. Do we consolidate and follow through with the gains or give it back on a screen (Employment #'s) and roll....over (as bond yields approach psychological 6% yield marker on a close) Best, J.T.
