Rambus is a done deal. From what I've been reading lately, samples of camino have already shipped to the OEM's. If intel were going to slide the camino deployment date they would have already announced it. All the necessary components for the rambus machines are ready. As you say the infrastructure is in place. Rambus will start shipping in the higher end computers in september and start showing up in the lower end next summer as the next generation of high end chips start coming out.
