Mike M, you are a novice trader aren't you?

Perhaps, but I was doing it before you were born. There is some truth in your discussion but plenty of distortion as well. Market makers are not in this business to trash the stocks they make a market in. That was the gist of your first message. They were, to paraphrase you, "buying Friday, to sell short Monday and drive the stock down the tubes." You implied that their purpose was to fool the public to get back into the stock only to set them up for the big fall, orchestrated by none other than FAHN.

FAHN is a respectable regional brokerage firm I traded with back in the mid 70's, before you got your training wheels. MMs job is to support an orderly flow of trading. In order to do this, sometimes they will be long and sometimes they will be short a stock, but a responsible firm does not manipulate chaos in a stock. That is pure hogwash.

You think because you read a book by some rogue that suddenly you have the goods on the whole world. Well it ain't so, bubba. Sure there are boiler room operations out there, way too many of them, but there is no correlation here! You have fantasized old (using the term loosely) buddy, and I am calling you on it; plain and simple.
