Who knows, I would hope it is a buy. If it was a short, I think they would be breaking rules. I can make no sense of it. But see it happening. I try to avoid opening hour. A position trader might just wait till 11:30 est to put in his order. a sort of lull point or just buy at closes. Remember there will always be a market, there will always be stocks going up and stock going down. No need to hurry. We can't cry over a missed trade. The most important thing above all others - Preserve Capital. You can't play game without it.
