If Y2K issue is only the double digit date then the PNLK Portal shows it to be in compliance, as it is given in a 4 digit format 1999. The companies not in compliance will have diffuculties recovering by having chosen to take a wait and see attitude. The Government institution where I work has been dealing with this issue for 2 years now. A complete upgrade of the computerized systems have been Installed, Using Dell and Gateway computers throughout the hospital, Upgrading the existing electrical distribution systems and utilities including telephone and Internet networks.. The addition of 90,000 gallons of Oil storage and the addition of generators in case of electrical failures. I heard the companies taking a wait and see attitude are going to hold cash through the removal of marketing and advertising moneys. As we see PNLK is spending and not holding back. The worlds Import/Export busy season is from the spring until the late Autumn months, Y2K will be exposed 1st of january. Dont forget Zagoren-Zozorra (sp) is going to put on the New Years eve events this Millenium. This is an additional benefit to being with PNLK through this uncertain time. If Y2K is a true problem and PNLKs site remains active with the Millenium events where most eyes will be, think of the possibilities for exposure again.

PNLK has many geniuses at work..Our time for good things is very near IMHO

Beaver, there are some good Y2K threads on SI. Probably it would be best to take Y2K discussions over to one of them, even though I contributed in part to it here. 10 miles? Wow!. Ted
