Hey, wait a minute! I never told Solution he wasn't hireable. I told him that the job he wanted probably wasn't exactly the right fit - and even set him up for interviews with our VP-Sales to see if we could find him a spot elsewhere. I also kicked around some ideas for other places that he might fit within our company. Solution came down with a medical problem, and never scheduled the interview. I even gave him some ideas about how to become a better fit - some career ideas - and he decided that he didn't want to do them - wanted to freelance, day trade, and spend more time with his kid, all of which sound fine to me. C'mon Solution, don't make it look like I'm a hardass when I gave you a fair shake and tried to help you out. Jeez, if this keeps up, I'm gonna go use an alias.
