Sam, Re: interest rates. thanx for the clarification. I agree. The perception is there.
However next week investors will be torn between getting into stocks at the current very attractive prices or betting on an iffy rate hike June 29,
just before earnings come out, by which time these low prices may be gone.
I suspect that next week we will get an internet stock rally based on the ATT verdict. The week after that we may get a pull back as
interest rate fears reappear.
Of course our AOL is fear proof. Mozilla is going to start thumping out of the forest Monday and begin to approach Short City. There, a significant number of folks will thus be caught with their pants, I mean their shorts, whatever, you know what I mean, down.
Are we ready to rumble?

Let me clarify: The market perceives that a hike is coming. Whether one INDEED
is coming, or even warranted, is a completely different issue. Once the perception
changes, then the market WILL rocket again. To change the perception will take
some time and data. As for Abelson, I take his words with a grain of salt.
