If you think my pointing out the distinction between Christopher's joke illustration about the dog-on-the-broad and the quotes Lather posted to his friend, to amuse her, translates to that, you have turned my point on its head-- or I expressed it very poorly. You know we oughta fight (joke- I do not feel we are fighting) in about 8 hours when it could get one of us the big TITLE post. We had a hell of a time last time coming up with material- if I remember right it was ingredients. We have plenty of material this time- I can tell lawyer jokes and you can tell California jokes and we can see who runs out first and ONE of us might win the big prize. All the best to you whatever you decide to do. I left here once because Christine and I got into it- and I am very sorry I did. What happened between us was much mroe serious than what happened between you and Lather- but even given that, it still wasn't really serious. I wish I had let it go. I can't say you will feel the same but you might want to give it some thought. I really would miss you- although you won't get me to admit something mushy like that again.
