I heard somewhere that the mutual funds have 72 hours for the reporting process, but I cant say if that is true or not and hope someone else could add to it. << In addition to Donald's comments to Vampire, I'd imagine that window dressing-related buying sets up a rally pattern leading into the following month because the 'herd' is getting in a little after the move has begun and their own momentum carries the window-dressing rally just a little further past the end of fund buying.
