DIET a co' that backed into a shell and is now getting ready to start PR and open another web site, an e-comm site as well as a FREE health and diet site. IMO it's worth a look at. Way undervalued at this point.IMO Few know about it or have DD'ed it like I have.

LYNDHURST, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 4, 1999-- Movado Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOVA - news), today announced financial results for the first quarter ended April 30, 1999.

Net sales for the first quarter ended April 30, 1999 increased 14.4% to $47.7 million compared to $41.7 million last year. Net sales from ongoing operations increased 20% for the quarter up from $39.7 million in the first quarter of last year. Net income for the first quarter was $4.3 million, or $0.33 per share. First quarter net income includes an after-tax gain of $3.7 million, or $0.28 per share from the sale of Piaget in February 1999. Excluding the gain from the sale of Piaget, net income increased to $653,000 versus $148,000 for the same period last year. Earnings per share from ongoing operations rose to $0.05 per share, compared to $0.01 per share last year.
