I guess it's a question of RELATIVE peacefulness..:-) As you say, you have patched the fights up, "for the most part." As I see the underlying thread "philosophy" it is: arguments are good, fights are bad. So, if an argument deteriorates into a fight, the fire brigade arrives, and eventually the firefight is extinguished. (There are a few exceptions: e.g., EV.) This is in contrast to other opinion threads (which shall be nameless), the object of which is to start a fight, and to keep it going as long as possible. But I am willing to stand corrected. I do not have the veteran's credentials that you can boast of. <g> Joan
