Ed Forrest, "of course our AOL is fear proof". Explain:
What I meant is that AO shareholders now have very little to fear. IMO the drop to 105 was because of the perceived lag in broad band.
The issue has been resolved IMO and AOL will go back to a "pre-perception" level, if I can use that word. That may be
around 140-150 pre earnings. Then with earnings move past the old high at least of 176.
The court has spoken.
I suppose ATT doesn't see that way.
But they didn't for ?100 when they had a monopoly.
ATT does not understand that monopolies are bad.
That is why they were outlawed.
That is why they are / they were broken up.
This is why we don't just have one post office. We have Fedex etc.
ATT for years was sheltered by the guv. That is bad biz.
Shelters foster mediocrity, lack of innovation, high prices.
Now these guys want it back. They think that the only way to compete is use all the (public)(our) cash that years of Guv sheltering & protectionism gave them for them to continue doing the same under a different copper(fiberoptic) wire.
They just don't get it.
As a result they had to be hit across the forehead with a 2 by 4 to get it.

AOL is here to break new ground.
It is doing that wonderfully.Diplomatically.With inventiveness.

I have no fear,

The price dropped about 40% in 2 months, somebody was fearful.I'm not trying to start
anything ,its an observation that I am compelled to make.I also do not believe we will
get a rate hike.
