The sequential subscriber growth is higher at ATHM than it is at AOL, no? That means ATHM could catch and surpass AOL eventually or at least make a bunch of money in the process of getting half way there. The ad revenues will also be higher for broadband ISPs.

I am in no way disputing AOL's business, but I think at $130 (12X ATHM's market cap) bil (off from much higher), there is QUITE a bit of success in 1999s price.
