It appears that SI posts are being manipulated in order that the 10,000,000th post happens on SUNDAY. There are large amounts of posts that say "The message you requested does not exist." in between valid posts. Reload this page and you will see posts jump buy sometimes 15-25 empty posts in the blink of an eye. techstocks.com 10,000,000 could come sooner than I predicted. I guess the 10,000,000th post will not be a true 10,000,000th post.

josef, thanks for assembling those "million number" posts. a quick review (and a bit of guessing) makes it look as though 6 out of 9 "million number" posts were copped by members who were trying for them. maybe only 5 of 9. because of the ability to go back into a post and edit comments, some otherwise unsuspecting "million number" posters may have been informed of their feat after the fact and they then went back and inserted comments that pertain to grubbing. i think it would be a trip for another unsuspecting member to get the 10 millionth post. it'd break a few hearts, for sure. <g3> what will be will be... and that is all. :) mark
