"morons" or not, AOL will continue it's growth due to DSL, wireless, and the upcoming cable deals...AOL has something At Home doesn't...a name...Everyone has heard of AOL, so all newbies will want that first...only people who've owned computers for a while have ever heard of At Home...another factor is the fact that most people who go online dont live online, they go on to read email, and do a little surfing/chatting...most of these people probably dont know or care about the difference in speed...they just want to contact their friends and relatives who are also on AOL...THESE are the bulk of the 19 million AOL users...most newbies will ask for AOL, NOT a company they've never heard of like At Home.
