dougR Here is another scan that seems to give good results. It is a weekly scan mainly based on the signal given by a 3 period RSI crossing a moving average of that rsi. details: WEEKLY Cross(RSI(3),Mov(RSI(3),3,e)) mov(rsi(3),3,e)- ref(mov(rsi(3),3,e),-2) { a positive slope } mov(stoch(13,8),8,s) moving upwards and between 30 and 80 rsi(13)>30 Volume> 400000 {weekly} roc(mov(c,13,e),3,%)>0 rsi(13)>ref(rsi(13),-2) { a positive upward trend } rsi(3)<90 {hopefully eliminates tops} details: daily a buy signal is generated when every the daily rsi(3) crosses the moving average of the rsi. Or when one can feel confident that rsi(3) will continue to be greater than the moving average.
