VERISIGN said it took them 4 years to set up their system, not me. Do any of you know how many MAN-Hours it takes to write computer code? That is why the cost of computer programming being what it is, many high tech companies (I Know, beleive me) are moving to India, to cut the labour costs of computer programming. Take a simple 25Megabyte program...that 25 Million Bytes or 2,500 pages of paper written in Geek (That's Greek for computer languages, usually C, C+, Pascal or Cobal if business related or Fortran, and towards a move toward non-Unix commands, like JAVA or Mod_Perl, the new Open Source version of PERl scripting (Or of course simple business people write in Visual basic usually MS-VB or some simplton script version of it). Face it, Versign is not able to, as you imply, "write up a quick Upgrade", this stuff is complex, and patented AND copyrighted. It is not theirs to copy period, even if they could "Borrow" code. No, think about it more simply: If it is so easy, it would not be secure. If it were so easy, hackers could break the passwords, encryption, SSL (Secured Sockets Layer), SET...oh that reminds me SET, the security system employed by MasterCharge and VISA, the reason it has only been accepted (Everywhere that AMerican Express isn't)(Pun, sorry) is because each SET site cost $1million to SET up (Pun again, sorry). That is why no one does digital certificates, until now, yes now, Cybercash and GTE are pioneering digital certificates, but guess what, CustomTracks has the better technology and they are not pioneering it, THEY HAVE IT NOW, WHEN IT IS NEEDED. Not in the future, zukunft baby, its all about now. I predict CUST will be a winner, or be bought by the smartest company. Either way its a good buy, especially at these low prices. (Don't forget, twice last week the price per share of VRSN and CUST crossed each other, and volume and mometum I beleive favored CUST, although I admit VRSN close was higher each day.
