Richard,

I was talking to some of your compatriots in Canada today. Lots of good tech help up there (ATI).

I found out that you can remove a display adapter using the Device Manager and even though it no longer appears there, Windows in some of its thoughts still sees it. If you boot in safe mode and go to Device Manager it's still there.

This holds true for win95 AND win98. I would think that if it was such an obvious and major bug in 95 it would have been corrected in 98? Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
wily

Wow!

I've been gone for just over a week and there's hundreds of posts to go through. Yikes. I'll go through some and might be posting some suggestions that have already been answered, so bear with me.
