WSMI.com Launches E-bay Style On-Line Turn-Key Auction Sites

TORONTO, ONTARIO--World Sports & Music Inc. - WSMI.com (CDN:WSMI)
specializing in on-line sports and entertainment collectible
merchandise is pleased to announce it is introducing an
opportunity through a licensing agreement for organizations and
retailers to take advantage of the on-line auction phenomenon.
WSMI.com, through its acquisition of BidAway.com, has created
hybrid on-line auction sites that offer a 'turn-key' solution that
is customized to fit any format.

This opportunity allows individuals, retailers and associations to
go on-line with their sales programs of products through a simple
and well defined auction formats that include; software, full
customization of each site, continual maintenance of each site,
heavy traffic to each individual site through an on-going
marketing and promotional campaign, as well as becoming members in
the Internet Marketing Consortium (IMC) and the Independent
On-Line Auction Owner's Association (IOAOA).

WSMI.com will use News USA, Cable Print Network Marketing and the
IMC to create awareness through on-going advertising and
promotional campaigns to drive traffic and bidders to the
franchised sites. WSMI.com has long term agreements with the
above-mentioned companies to guarantee that Internet users will
visit the newly created sites. Currently the IMC is receiving
over 179 million hits per month and this traffic will be exposed
to the WSMI.com group of on-line companies. News USA will run
editorials throughout the United States to create awareness for
WSMI.com and its licensees. This agreement is for two years and
began June 1, 1999.

Chris Bradshaw, CEO of WSMI.com explained the opportunity for the
company by saying, "You can have the best site in the world but if
no one knows that site exists, it will fail WSMI.com has spent
over a year researching hundreds of on-line auctions to find out
what works and what does not. Our experience and results have led
to identifying 6 key points to a successful operation. These key
points are fast and simple software, promotional advertising, high
quality products, excellent product selection, auction pricing and
partnerships. We have developed a world class marketing network
to include all of these components to create a highly successful
turn-key operation for all site owners. By addressing these
concerns with solutions, our sites will be highly visible,
allowing WSMI.com to build a network of specialized boutique
auction sites and develop a powerful database."

Each franchise owner will pay WSMI.com $20,000 US plus an annual
licensing fee of $3,000 US that will cover the cost of hosting and
maintaining each individual site. WSMI.com will also own the top
inch and a half of each page of all franchised sites for marketing
purposes through banner advertisements. WSMI.com will also
control all databases generated from these sites. This data and
the value that it represents will allow WSMI.com to compete
aggressively in the marketplace.

WSMI.com will continue to offer licensing opportunities to all
groups interested in becoming an on-line vendor. WSMI.com will
assist in developing all aspects of running a successful and
profitable auction. By combining strong sales and marketing with
desirable products, traffic will be driven to credible and well-
maintained sites that will be easy for consumers and vendors to
access and complete transactions.
