Don,
I am not bitter about any perceived injurious actions commited against Jews by Christians. I jusge each person and action as individual, representing only themselves.

I am also not sure that by accepting money, a preacher, rabbi, priest, shaman, monk, etc, is a whore. I have met many fine people from various religions who are paid salaries. They are very earnest and dedicated in their beliefs. As in all things, there are good and bad peopole in every religion, in every faith, in every job.

Regardless of the various dispositions, I believe God loves all, resides in us all, despite the surface differences we display.

Sincerely,

Mark

Dear Mark,

I no doubt attributed some of my own sentiments to you, unconsciously and wrongly.

My wife's family are Polish Jews. Those that stayed behind were all murdered by Hitler. It was a large beautiful family of many handsome, intelligent men and women. The survivors have a quicksilver sense of humor, which always amazes me. They're very generous and kind.

Its difficult for me not to be bitter about these atrocities visited upon my own family. The Vatican was the first to recognize Hitler's Reich as "legitimate" as you know.

I look forward to meeting these excellent people in the resurrection. Isa 26:19.

I'll try not to overstep by characterizing your beliefs,

Good Morning, Mark!

Don

Dear Don;

I will apologize in advance for the tone of this letter. I am an imperfect man and cannot always communicate as Messiah would.

You should choose your words more carefully. The body of Messiah is a group of people who love Him, napalm and bayonets are not defining characteristics of His Body. Certainly individuals have crept in and done many awful things. This is according to scripture. Yeshua Himself warns us of wolves wearing wool and creeping into the flock. The Apostle Paul also spoke often of false prophets and deceitful workman; 2Cor. 11:13-14 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light.

The existence of such men is evidence for the voracity of scripture. It is not however a reason to speak so of Christendom in general. I hope you know at least one outside your understanding that would not use napalm or sword.

I am wondering if you would vilify the Apostle Paul for taking money willingly given. I would agree that a minister of the Gospel should not preach for money only, nor should he compel others to pay him. However the scripture teaches that Paul did receive and use offerings to further the work of his ministry.

2 Cor.11:8-9 I robbed other churches, taking wages [of them] that I might minister unto you; and when I was present with you and was in want, I was not a burden on any man; for the brethren, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my want; and in everything I kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and [so] will I keep [myself].

Be careful in your judgements Don, no one is without sin and error has crept into all groups because of sin. Yeshua is not to blame and neither is His Body (known only to Him).

Error is one thing but there are scriptural reasons for leaving an organization that claims truth.

2 Cor. 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or [if] ye receive a different spirit, which ye did not receive, or a different gospel, which ye did not accept, ye do well to bear with [him].

Paul knew Messiah as Yeshua (YHWH is salvation), the unique Son of God and not as Michael. Yeshua created the angels; He is not one of them.

My faith and service are to Yeshua HaMashiac and to Him alone. I will gladly turn away from any organization that would demand I disobey Him. Could you say the same? Leaving or joining the right group does not lead to salvation, only faith in Yeshua can save a person. The WatchTower has made several false prophecies concerning the Lord. This by definition makes them false prophets which we are commanded to turn from.

Deuteronomy 18:22 (American Standard Version) when a prophet speaketh in the name of Jehovah, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which Jehovah hath not spoken: the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously, thou shalt not be afraid of him.

I would be happy to show you the photocopies of WatchTower publications that have spoken for YHWH falsely if you would read them.
Deuteronomy 13 makes this point even clearer. We are to put to death a false prophet as a test of out love for YHWH. I believe that leaving their church would be the more "Christian" thing to do.
