<<I can only conclude I was wrong.>> No as you stated it here you are right. So, now let's conclude you were wrong about being wrong. I figured the "in my image" thing had something to do with it. Thus the video game analogy. I find nothing heinous about the BW spider thing and tried to point out a positive (from our view) way of looking at it. But still don't see anything wierd about God creating diverse scenarios in nature. Definitely don't see it as "not good." So, from my point of view no problem with God's image here. Now I do see injustice and meanness in the world at the hands of men and still proclaim God all powerful and All Good. If God is all Powerful and all Good, how is it that men can do bad? God has the power to stop them, right? If it is his will for something to "be." He need only will it and it is including all goodness all the time. Why do we have this image of God being effected (disappointed, sad, enraged with wrath, etc.) If we have the power to effect God then God isn't all powerful. If we have the power to torchure God as in the Man God Jesus and cause him suffering and pain, how is he then all powerful. If he openly weeps is he then sorrowful and disappointed? How then was he all knowing if he can experience disappointment? How can he experience sorrow (loss) if he is all powerful? Though we love Jesus and revere his message, this is not the God of Islam.
